Weightmans team success at Liverpool Law Society awards
Law firm Weightmans was announced the winner of the ‘Dispute
Resolution Team of the Year’ award category at the Liverpool Law
Society Legal Awards ceremony on Saturday.
The Commercial Dispute Resolution team, led by Liverpool
partners Andrew Cox, Michael Green and Sian Evans, beat off the
competition to win the title.
The news comes just a week after Weightmans was announced the
runner up in the Corporate Social Responsibility award at the
Liverpool Daily Post Regional Business Awards.
Andrew Cox said:
“We are delighted to have won this strongly contested category.
We have built an excellent dispute resolution team and I am very
pleased that their hard work and commitment has been recognised by
the local legal community.
“We have achieved 58% income growth over the last two years,
delivering high quality services to both local business and
national clients. We hope to build on that success with further
growth in the year ahead."
The winners were announced at the awards ceremony on 27 June at
the Crowne Plaza Hotel in Liverpool.
