Weightmans announces solid half year results
National law firm Weightmans has recorded a solid financial
performance in the first half of the 2008/2009 financial year.
The firm has achieved turnover of £24 million
between 1 May and 31 October 2008. Last year Weightmans recorded
annual turnover of £50 million after recording half year results of
£22.6 million.
Commenting on the firm’s financial
performance, managing partner Patrick Gaul said:
“We have increased overall production as compared
to this time last year by 9% and all our core practice areas are
performing well.
“We have invested substantially in the business
in the last couple of years. We will continue to do so but at the
same time keep a close eye on all aspects of financial performance
on an ongoing basis given market conditions.”
