Our practice is structured along three business lines.

We have a formidable reputation and heritage in insurance in which we are a leading national player.  We handle all sizes of claims for insurers and their clients across a broad range of disciplines and in all offices.

We have a growing reputation in the public sector market, acting for many local, police and fire authorities, and many NHS trusts.

The traditional outlook of the practice is changing.  Whereas once we were  predominantly a litigation practice, we now also have a substantial commercial business line which accounts for over 20% of our turnover.  We offer a substantial and diverse range of services including a national employment team and commercial and property teams who act for many public sector bodies, owner managed businesses and PLCs.
